Dr. REMITH GEORGE CARRI
Remith George Carri is a teaching faculty of the Department of Education, Assam University, Silchar since 2009, and is currently holding the post of Associate Professor (2021 onwards). He has completed his doctoral research (UGC-JRF) on quality of teacher education from RIE (NCERT) Mysore.
Having specializations in teacher education, science education, and environmental education,
his research focuses on enhancing quality of school education and teacher education in the Northeast India. More than five candidates have completed their doctoral research under his supervision. He teaches academic writing and research ethics to the doctoral students along with his teaching responsibilities related to science and environmental education at undergraduate and post graduate levels. Dr Carri has published over 35 journal articles and book chapters and has served as resource person in more than 50 seminars and workshops.
